Covid-19 is changing the way the world works, plays and lives. We cannot yet predict all the changes that will happen long term. And there were some macro-trends that were happening before Covid-19 that might get accelerated. So the truth is, we are in a period of great uncertainty. It’s worth stressing that this situation is unique, and no one can know exactly what to do. We don’t profess to have all the answers, but we do have principles and skills that might be useful as we learn together to find a good path forward. Rather than be paralysed, we can, instead, be provoked to action. We can be spurred to help our customers, our people, and our communities. Businesses and brands that demonstrate compassion and understanding for where their customers are at, will more likely emerge from this stronger in the future, and they will be more useful to people today.
